BENEVOLENT MINISTRY
The Unity Baptist church Benevolent fund was established by the church to meet the financial needs of the impoverished, needy, and poor. There are guidelines for the Benevolent Ministry to govern how the fund should be administered.
BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
The Bereavement Ministry is an outreach ministry to support members of our church who are mourning the transition of a loved one. The ministry provides personal contact during their time of grieving. Our goal is to be the compassionate heart and hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ providing comfort by the aid of Holy Spirit.
BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Christian Education is the communication of the Gospel through formal and informal education programs so the facts of the Scriptures are presented clearly, and individuals may respond by personal faith in Jesus Christ and grow toward Christian maturity. Unity Baptist Church Board of Christian Education is a body of church members elected or appointed to coordinate and guide the educational program of the Church through inspiration, instruction, and interaction. Each ministry has a leader and ministry members that report to the BOCE meetings held once a month from September to May. The ministries fall under the guidance of the Pastor and the Board of Christian Education is purposed in teaching the word of God. The budget for the BOCE is provided through the church.

DEACONESS MINISTRY
Unity Baptist Church Deaconess prepares communion and communion tables; assists female candidates for baptism; orders supplies for communion and baptism and keep communion linen clean and assists the pastor and deacons if needed. We are affiliated with the district and state deaconess ministries

MINISTERS WIVES MINISTRY
Minister Wives are to encourage and support the vision that God has given to their husband. They are to Serve, Support, and Assist their husbands in providing wise counsel to its members and congregation at large.
MISSION MINISTRY
We nurture our membership through mission study, education, fellowship and prayer. We also reach outward through personal witnessing, evangelizing, assisting the less fortunate, and seeking justice and liberty for all in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
MOTHERS BOARD
The Mothers Board is a ministry designed to promote spiritual guidance for the young women, young men, boys and girls of the church, through wise scriptural counsel. Our purpose is to encourage and support the pastor through prayer, song and "amens."
MUSIC/MEDIA ARTS MINISTRY
The Unity Baptist Church Music & Media Arts Ministry is established to support the vision of the pastor and sustain an atmosphere of praise and worship through music, artistic expression, dynamic sound and media to support the building of the Kingdom and it’s people.
NURSES GUILD MINISTRY Our ministry is all about service! We, the Nurses Guild of Unity Baptist Church, service our congregation as well as the Wolverine State Nurses and the Metropolitan District Nurses. We serve with gladness, coming before His Presence singing.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
PASTOR’S AIDE MINISTRY
We provide for needs to the Pastor that are not nominally met by other administrative Boards of the Church. Additionally, we provide encouragement and expressions of gratitude to the pastoral leadership that feeds and attend our spiritual concerns.

TRUSTEE BOARD
The Trustee Board has the overarching fiduciary responsibility of the church which includes the duties of care, obedience, and loyalty. While fulfilling the fiduciary duty, the board manages the church’s finances and affairs and makes decisions to protect the church’s' best interests. The Trustee Board employs wisdom to ensure that the care for and best use of the church’s resources are effectively managed and cared for throughout the facility, grounds, and the organizational life of the congregation. In addition to managing the fiscal responsibility and retention of church property, the Trustee Board is also charged with being good stewards personally in the community and being a servant of our Lord and Savior.
